# Adom Desktop (macOS)

This page distributes the macOS build of Adom Desktop as a dmg release plus a
`version.json` manifest (same shape as Adom Hydrogen's macOS updates).

- Latest manifest: `https://wiki.adom.inc/api/v1/pages/adom-desktop-macos/files/version.json`
- The manifest's `macos.installer_url` points at the dmg release asset (sha256 + size included).
- Adom Hydrogen's `ensure-adom-desktop` setup step downloads that dmg and copies
  `Adom Desktop.app` into /Applications, then keeps the app alive across launches.
- Manual install: download the dmg from the releases tab and drag the app into Applications.
