✓Datasheet: JGHC (Shenzhen Jingguanghua Electronics) S22 Series SMD Seam Sealing Crystal 2.5x2.0x0.55 mm sheet, from the S22 product page on jghcorp.com (https://www.jghcorp.com/Data/0755crystal/upload/file/20240823/S22%E8%B4%B4%E7%89%87%E6%99%B6%E6%8C%AFSMD2520.pdf); 1 page, image only, no revision printed; re-downloaded 2026-10-27 with the same sha256 (e7f0490e...); replaces the JLCPCB copy
•Datasheet scope: the sheet covers the S22 series; S2240000091050JY is tied to it by its S22 prefix only (the sheet has no ordering-code key)
✓Pins vs Top View / Top View Crystal Connection (p.1): crystal between pins 1 and 3, GND on pins 2 and 4; pin 1 bottom-left, 2 bottom-right, 3 top-right, 4 top-left (top view) = footprint pads 1 (-0.875, +0.70), 2 (+0.875, +0.70), 3 (+0.875, -0.70), 4 (-0.875, -0.70); bottom view agrees (pin 3 chamfered pad). Renamed pins 2 and 4 G -> GND
•Pin types: all passive. Pins 2 and 4 are ground terminals; typed passive to match KiCad's crystal symbol convention (Crystal_GND24 types its ground pins passive), not power_in
✓Descriptions rewritten from the Top View Crystal Connection drawing (p.1), replacing the 'non-polarized two-terminal part' boilerplate
•Footprint vs Top View Suggested Layout (p.1): pads 1.15 x 1.00 mm at +/-0.875, +/-0.70 (gaps 0.60 x 0.40) vs suggested 1.0 x 0.9 mm with 0.85 and 0.65 gaps (centres +/-0.925, +/-0.775); both cover the terminals (bottom-view gaps 0.9 and 0.7)
✓Distributors: DigiKey and Mouser carry no S2240000091050JY (searched 2026-10-27); LCSC C555632 kept
✓3D source: tier 1 none (jghcorp.com S22 product page (fetched 2026-10-27 through the jghcorp.com address; www.jghcorp.com did not resolve in DNS from this container) lists only PDF sheets; no STEP published.) Tier 2 rejected (KiCad Crystal.3dshapes/Crystal_SMD_2520-4Pin_2.5x2.0mm.step: 2.50 x 2.00 x 0.83 mm vs 0.55 +/-0.05: out of tolerance.) Tier 3: model rebuilt with the KiCad 3D model generator (gitlab.com/kicad/libraries/kicad-packages3D-generator, commit e272fcc8) from JGHC (Shenzhen Jingguanghua Electronics) S22 Series SMD2520 sheet no revision printed; file dated 2024-08-23, Dimensions and patterns, p.1; parameters in provenance/3d-generator-params.yaml; Adom-authored, CC-BY-SA-4.0
✓3D body vs drawing: body 2.50 x 2.00 mm: 2.50 +/-0.1, 2.00 +/-0.1: pass; overall height 0.55 mm (etched 0.555): 0.55 +/-0.05: pass; pads 0.70 x 0.55 with gaps 0.90 (x) and 0.70 (y): bottom view 0.9 / 0.7: pass (pad size drawing-scaled); pad 3 (3D top-right, KiCad (0.875, -0.70)) carries the 0.3 x 0.3 mm inner-corner chamfer drawn on the bottom view; pads sit inside footprint pads 1-4: pass
✓3D pose: s2240000091050jy.step and s2240000091050jy-etched.step are Z-up, seated on z = 0, centred on the footprint origin (offset 0.0 mm), footprint (model) binding identity (step_pose.py); the source was built in the footprint frame, so the transform is identity; the etched file adds the adom-chip-laser MPN inlay on the top face; GLBs from step2glb convert; footprint (model) path now ${KIPRJMOD}/s2240000091050jy.step with only that line changed (pads untouched); provenance/3d-model.json records source, terms, hashes, transform and checks
•3D details not dimensioned on the sheet: terminal pad size (0.70 x 0.55) and the pin-3 chamfer (0.3 x 0.3) are scaled from the bottom view; the chamfer is added by a 20-line extension to the generator (provenance/3d-generator.patch)
✓component-page-verify: all checks pass
✓Symbol Datasheet / MPN / Manufacturer / DigiKey / Mouser / LCSC properties agree with page.json; footprint Datasheet property points at the manufacturer datasheet URL
•Datasheet copy on the page is JGHC's S22 sheet with an OCR text layer added (ocrmypdf), because its drawing labels (pin numbers, GND) are images; the sheet itself is unchanged; JGHC's file sha256 e7f0490eb9efee1a

SymbolFootprint3D modelPinsfor all variants

✓Footprint extracted pad-for-pad from the source board and normalized to the footprint frame (back-side parts un-mirrored)
✓3D model seated z=0 at footprint origin (placement inverse; method centroid-matched to KiCad library models on 59 cases)
✓adom-lbr generate + lint passed
✓4 of 4 pins described from the datasheet (adom-ds2sf, page-cited)
•Not yet checked by a person: land pattern vs datasheet, pin-1/orientation, 3D body vs drawing
