Pup - the AI's own browser
Public Made by Adomby adom
pup gives your AI a real browser on your desktop that it drives completely, in the background, signed in as you: windows that never jump in front of your work, one shared profile that learns your logins, and every window labeled on the taskbar with its AI thread's name.

Add the EE parts-data sites login recipe (UltraLibrarian, SnapEDA, ComponentSearchEngine, Octopart, DigiKey, Mouser, Arrow, TI, ST, ams, Vishay, Panasonic) documenting the consumer-Chrome-brand requirement that unblocks the Cloudflare/Akamai walls, per-site search URL patterns, and the login-gated download flows.

Chrome for+Testing omits the `Google Chrome` brand real Chrome carries, and the walls flag that. pup now adds+it to every tab automatically, so a page that used to serve "Just a moment…" loads normally — this+genuinely is the user on their own Windows Chrome, with CfT only as the automation harness. If a+site *still* challenges, it wants an interaction: reload once, wait, and rarely a real+`pup_assisted_click`. Never hammer-reload. See `ee-parts-sites.md` for a worked example across a+dozen electronics sites.+ ## Recipe file format Name the file by registrable domain: `login-recipes/<domain>.md` (e.g. `gusto.com.md`). Use:

Field-tested 2026-08-13.++## The one thing that unblocked almost everything: present as Google Chrome++Most of these sites sit behind **Cloudflare / Akamai bot walls** that read the browser's+**client-hints brands** (`Sec-CH-UA` / `navigator.userAgentData.brands`). Chrome for Testing's UA+*string* looks like consumer Chrome, but its brand list is `[Not/A)Brand, Chromium]` and omits the+**`Google Chrome`** brand real Chrome carries. The walls flag that omission.++**pup ≥ 2.0.141 adds the `Google Chrome` brand to every tab automatically** (UA header + userAgentData+kept consistent), because this genuinely is the user surfing from their own Windows Chrome — CfT is+only the automation harness. No per-recipe action is needed; it is on for every page.++Measured before vs. after the brand fix (all served "Just a moment…" before; ✓ = loads after):++| Site | Before | After 2.0.141 |+|---|---|---|+| Mouser | walled | ✓ |+| Arrow | walled | ✓ |+| SnapEDA / SnapMagic | walled | ✓ |+| ComponentSearchEngine | walled | ✓ |+| Octopart | walled | ✓ |+| DigiKey | walled | ✓ (clears on the 2nd nav, once challenge cookies are set) |+| UltraLibrarian | already loaded | ✓ |+| TI / ST / ams (mfr-direct) | already loaded | ✓ |++If a site still shows "Just a moment…" / "Verify you are human", it wants an *interaction*, not just+the right brand: reload once, wait ~12s, and (rarely) a real click via `pup_assisted_click`. Never+hammer-reload — that hardens the challenge.++## Downloads need a (free) login on the aggregators — capture it once++UltraLibrarian, SnapEDA, and ComponentSearchEngine render the symbol/footprint/3D preview to+anyone, but the **download** button is gated behind a free account. That is a normal login: sign in+once on the durable `adom-you` profile and pup's vault remembers it, so later downloads are silent.+See the generic flow in this folder's README; nothing site-specific beyond the entry URLs below.++Downloaded files land in the user's Windows Downloads folder. To hand one to the container, use the+Bridge file verbs (`desktop_pull_file`) after the download completes.++---++## Aggregators (symbol + footprint + 3D)++### UltraLibrarian (ultralibrarian.com)+- **Search:** `https://app.ultralibrarian.com/search?queryText=<MPN>` (the search app is on the+ `app.` subdomain; the bare `www` `/search` 404s).+- **Part page:** `https://app.ultralibrarian.com/details/<uuid>/<Vendor>/<MPN>?uid=<n>` — links show+ as the MPN in results.+- **Download:** the part page has a **"Download Now"** button plus per-tool accordions (KiCAD,+ Cadence, Altium, 3D CAD Model / STEP). Gated: shows **"Login to Download"** until signed in.+- **Flow:** search → click the MPN result → expand the CAD format → Download Now. Login-gated.++### SnapEDA / SnapMagic (snapeda.com)+- **Search:** `https://www.snapeda.com/search/?q=<MPN>`+- **Part page:** `https://www.snapeda.com/parts/<MPN>/<Manufacturer>/view-part/` (spaces in the+ manufacturer are `%20`).+- **Download:** part page renders Symbol + Footprint side by side with **"Download Symbol and+ Footprint"** and a separate **"Download Footprint"**, plus **3D Model** / **Simulation Models**+ tabs and **"See Datasheet PDF"**. Downloads need a free login (Log In / Sign Up top-right).+- **Anti-automation:** Cloudflare interstitial before 2.0.141; clears with the Google Chrome brand.++### ComponentSearchEngine (componentsearchengine.com)+- **Search:** `https://componentsearchengine.com/search?term=<MPN>`+- Free CAD models (symbol/footprint/3D) per part; download is account-gated (same free-login+ pattern). Cloudflare-walled before the brand fix.++### Octopart (octopart.com)+- **Search:** `https://octopart.com/search?q=<MPN>` — an aggregator/price-compare, not a CAD-model+ host; use it for distributor availability + datasheet links, then go to a CAD aggregator above for+ the symbol/footprint. Cloudflare-walled before the brand fix.++## Distributors++### DigiKey (digikey.com)+- **Search:** `https://www.digikey.com/en/products/result?keywords=<MPN>`+- **Anti-automation:** the toughest of the set (Akamai). The Google Chrome brand gets past it, but+ the **first** navigation may still land on the interstitial; the **second** navigation (challenge+ cookies now set on the durable profile) loads normally. So: nav, wait, and if walled, nav the same+ URL once more. Datasheet + parametric data + some EDA models per product page.++### Mouser (mouser.com)+- **Search:** `https://www.mouser.com/c/?q=<MPN>` → "Search results for: <MPN>". Loads directly with+ the brand fix. Product pages carry datasheets and (for many parts) ECAD model links.++### Arrow (arrow.com)+- **Search:** `https://www.arrow.com/en/products/search?q=<MPN>`. Loads directly with the brand fix.++## Manufacturer-direct (never walled in testing — go here first for authoritative data)++These served real content even as Chrome for Testing, so they are the most reliable source of+datasheets and simulation models:++- **TI (ti.com):** `https://www.ti.com/product/<PARTNUM>` — datasheet, **PSpice model**, IBIS, and+ "Download" buttons render inline. E.g. `/product/LM358`.+- **STMicroelectronics (st.com):** the product page (e.g.+ `/en/microcontrollers-microprocessors/stm32f103c8.html`) has **"Download datasheet"** and a **"CAD+ Resources"** section (symbol/footprint/3D).+- **ams-OSRAM (ams-osram.com):** product pages have a **"Download center"** with datasheet + models.+- **Vishay (vishay.com):** product/datasheet pages, typically reachable via the part number; datasheet+ PDFs are direct. *(Not exhaustively tested this pass — add specifics when you drive it.)*+- **Panasonic (industrial.panasonic.com):** capacitor/part pages with datasheet + characteristic+ data downloads. *(Add specifics when you drive it.)*++## Recommended play for "get me the part data for `<MPN>`"++1. **Symbol/footprint/3D:** try SnapEDA first (best preview + one-click download), then+ UltraLibrarian or ComponentSearchEngine. All need one free login for the actual download —+ capture it once and pup autofills forever.+2. **Authoritative datasheet + simulation:** go **manufacturer-direct** (TI/ST/ams/Vishay/Panasonic)+ — never walled, no login.+3. **Availability + pricing + cross-distributor:** Octopart, then DigiKey/Mouser/Arrow.+4. Everything rides the durable `adom-you` profile so logins and anti-bot cookies persist; never use+ an isolated window for these (you would re-solve every wall and re-login every time).
