grok_wake reports 'asked the agent (via chat)' while the Grok Bot app is not running; nothing is sent and the computer stays paused

Symptom. grok_wake reports success while the Grok Bot app is not running, and the Grok computer never wakes.

adom-bridge --target AdomLapper grok_wake '{"minutes":20,"reason":"..."}'
-> "_hint": "Asked the agent (via chat) to sleep 20 min, which keeps its computer running. It resumes within about a minute ..."

Then for 9 minutes ping --target grok-bot-vm-155244935 (CLI 2.1.182) stays "status": "unreachable". grok_status on AdomLapper at the same time says why:

"hostApp": "Grok Bot", "hostAppInstalled": true, "hostAppRunning": false, "lastSend": null

So the chat path had no app to type into, and lastSend is still null, but the reply said the agent was asked. Yesterday the same call woke the box twice (webhook path).

Ask.

  1. When the chat path is chosen and the host app is not running, either start it (as grok_open would) and then send, or fail with errorCode: host_app_not_running and the hint to run grok_open first. Never a success reply for a message that was not sent.
  2. In the success reply, include whether the send was confirmed (the run id or the chat row it wrote), so a caller can tell "asked" from "delivered".

Context: kicad-bridge's Linux work on the Grok computer (adom/kicad-bridge#127, #129).
