  • ✓Datasheet: Samtec FTSH-1XX-XX-XXX-DV-XXX-XXX print, Revision FQ, re-downloaded 2026-10-27 from https://suddendocs.samtec.com/prints/ftsh-1xx-xx-xxx-dv-xxx-xxx-mkt.pdf; sha256 fccf0054... identical to the page copy (no newer edition).
  • ✓Ordering code FTSH-107-01-L-DV-K-A decoded on print sheet 1: 07 positions per row, lead style -01 (A = 3.05), plating -L, tail -DV, -K keying option (sheet 2 Fig 2, lead style -01 only; alignment pin with -K must be molded), -A alignment pin (sheet 2 Fig 3, molded 3 positions min).
  • ✓Pins: 14 contacts numbered per print sheet 1 Fig 1 top view (01 and 02 at the same end, odd contacts in one row, even in the other); names are the contact numbers 1-14, all passive (were no_connect/power_in/bidirectional/output/input/open_collector from ST's STDC14 signal assignment); descriptions rewritten to 'Contact N; numbering per the manufacturer drawing. [datasheet p.1]'. The -K option omits no contact (position omission is the separate polarizing option).
  • ✓Footprint rebuilt from Samtec RECOMMENDED PCB LAYOUT FOR FTSH-1XX-XX-XXX-DV-XXX, Rev H (8/27/2019, ECN-364793), https://suddendocs.samtec.com/prints/ftsh-1xx-xx-xxx-dv-xxx-footprint.pdf (sha256 caa205b9...): pads .029 [0.74] x .110 [2.79] at .050 [1.27] pitch, outer span .270 [6.86] (pad centres x +/-2.035), Table 1 option -A hole 'A' .040 [1.02] at (No of pos - 2) x 1.27 = 6.35 apart on the centreline (y +/-3.175). Layout rotated 90 deg into the previous footprint's orientation (pad 1 at (-2.035, -3.81), odd pads left). Previous footprint (KiCad PinHeader_2x07_P1.27mm_Vertical_SMD): pads 2.4 x 0.74 at x +/-1.95 (span 6.30) and no alignment holes, so an -A part could not seat.
  • •Alignment holes are np_thru_hole: the layout does not state plating for the -A hole (it marks only the -EPC/-EC hole NPTH); the pins are molded LCP, so NPTH is used. Hole edge to pad edge 0.13 mm, as Samtec's layout draws it.
  • ✓3D rebuilt (tier 3): no Samtec STEP could be fetched (samtec.com returned Cloudflare 1015 rate-limit pages; no CAD terms readable) and KiCad has no FTSH model; built with cadquery from print sheet 1 Fig 1 + Table 1 and sheet 2 Fig 2/Fig 3 (provenance/tools/build_ftsh_107_k_a.py, provenance/3d-model.json). Body 8.89 x 3.43 x 2.51 on 0.41 tails, seat to body top 2.92, posts 0.41 sq to 2.92 + 3.05 = 5.97, tails 5.8 tip to tip, -K key 5.08 x 5.08 to 2.92 + 3.20 = 6.12 with a 2.16 opening on the row-01 side, molded -A pins 0.89 dia 6.35 apart reaching 0.86 below the seat. Bbox 5.80 x 8.89 x 6.98 (z -0.86..6.12). Previous model: KiCad generic pin header, 5.57 x 8.89 x 4.40, no key or pins.
  • ✓Model overlays at drawing scale: sheet 1 Fig 1 end view (236.2 px/mm) and sheet 2 Fig 2 top view (141.7 px/mm) coincide with the print (provenance/evidence/). Undimensioned features (flange 0.62, web 2.92, key overhang 0.83, edge notches) measured off the 1200 dpi render.
  • ✓Pose (step_pose.py, plain and eda): Z-up, XY centre 0.000 mm from the pad-pattern centre, identity binding, seated on z = 0 with 0.86 mm below the board through the np_thru_hole alignment holes. MPN etch is the separate part Adom.LaserEtch on the row-02 key bar.
  • ✓Distributors (searched 2026-10-27): DigiKey FTSH-107-01-L-DV-K-A-ND (Samtec Inc., exact MPN, tube; -TR and -FR are different ordering codes), Mouser 200-FTSH10701LDVKA (Samtec, exact MPN).
  • •Boards: no BOM names this MPN; the STDC14 headers on ECS_G431_v2.0.1 (J1) and bosch-ovhd-xarm_v1.0 (J2, J3) use KiCad PinHeader_2x07_P1.27mm_Vertical_SMD with no MPN and are not on the JLC BOMs. Their footprint differs from this page (no alignment holes, pads 2.4 long at +/-1.95): a FTSH-...-A part cannot be fitted to those boards as laid out.
  • ✓Symbol Datasheet / MPN / Manufacturer / DigiKey / Mouser / LCSC properties agree with page.json; footprint Datasheet property points at the manufacturer datasheet URL
  • ✓component-page-verify: all checks pass

  • •The -A option adds alignment pins (Samtec print, sheet 2, Fig 3) that need PCB holes; the KiCad PinHeader_2x07_P1.27mm_Vertical_SMD footprint on this page has none. Check the land pattern against the Samtec recommended PCB layout before use.

  • •Assumed part: the board this part set comes from gives no MPN for this header (value Conn_ST_STDC14). FTSH-107-01-L-DV-K-A was chosen to document a Samtec STDC14 header; it is not confirmed as the fitted part on any board.

  • ✓Footprint extracted pad-for-pad from the source board and normalized to the footprint frame (back-side parts un-mirrored)
  • ✓3D model seated z=0 at footprint origin (placement inverse; method centroid-matched to KiCad library models on 59 cases)
  • ✓adom-lbr generate + lint passed
  • ✓14 of 14 pins described
  • •Not yet checked by a person: land pattern vs datasheet, pin-1/orientation, 3D body vs drawing
