  • ✓Datasheet: replaced the LCSC/JLCPCB copy (7 pages) with Panasonic's current 'ERJ type' datasheet (Precision Thick Film Chip Resistors, AOA0000C304; product pages 1-4 dated 29-May-25, precaution pages 5-8 dated 10-May-24 and 30-Jun-23), downloaded 2026-10-27 from the Datasheet link on industrial.panasonic.com/ww/products/pt/general-purpose-chip-resistors/models/ERJ2RKF8873X (https://industrial.panasonic.com/cdbs/www-data/pdf/RDA0000/AOA0000C304.pdf); DigiKey links the same file
  • ✓Part number decoded with 'Explanation of part numbers' for the ±1% series (p.2): ERJ = thick film chip resistor; 2RK = 0402, 0.1 W; F = ±1%; 8873 = 887 x 10^3 Ω = 887 kΩ; X = punched carrier taping, 2 mm pitch, 10,000 pcs. The Panasonic model page lists ERJ2RKF8873X as 0.100 W, 1.0 x 0.5 mm (EIA 0402), 887000 Ω, ±1%, punched (paper) taping 2 mm pitch, T.C.R. ±100
  • ✓Ratings for ERJ2RK, ±1% (p.3): 0.1 W at 70 °C, limiting element voltage 50 V, maximum overload voltage 100 V, resistance range 10 Ω to 1 MΩ (E24, E96) covers 887 kΩ, T.C.R. ±100 x 10^-6/K, category temperature -55 to +155 °C, AEC-Q200 Grade 0
  • ✓Pins: unpolarized two-terminal part; pins 1 and 2 keep empty names, type passive and the library descriptions (the datasheet has no pin table; both electrodes are identical, Construction p.3)
  • ✓Footprint vs Dimensions (p.4) for ERJ2R (L 1.00±0.05, W 0.50±0.05, bottom electrode b 0.25±0.05, top a 0.20±0.10 mm): pads 0.54 x 0.64 mm at x = ±0.51 mm (inner edges ±0.24, outer ±0.78 mm) cover both electrodes; pad width 0.64 mm exceeds the maximum body width 0.55 mm; pins 1/2 on the long axis
  • •Footprint vs Panasonic's 'Surface Mount Resistors Land Pattern' (DMM0000COL17, dated 24-Dec-25, linked from the same model page; general purpose ERJ, 1005 (0402): gap a 0.5 to 0.6, overall b 1.4 to 1.6, width c 0.4 to 0.6 mm): the KiCad pads give gap 0.48, overall 1.56, width 0.64 mm, so 0.02 mm narrower gap and 0.04 mm wider pads than the recommendation; they still cover the electrodes and are kept as built on Adom boards
  • ✓3D body 1.00 x 0.50 x 0.35 mm against ERJ2R L 1.00±0.05, W 0.50±0.05, T 0.35±0.05 mm (p.4): nominal; Z-up, seated on z = 0, centred on the pads
  • ✓Distributors: DigiKey was false (the 2026-10-08 search missed the hyphenated listing); DigiKey lists it as ERJ-2RKF8873X, Panasonic Industry, P887KLTR-ND (tape and reel, RES SMD 887K OHM 1% 1/10W 0402), confirmed by part lookup on 2026-10-27. Mouser 667-ERJ-2RKF8873X kept (lookup returns Panasonic Industry ERJ-2RKF8873X, 0402 887 kΩ 1% AEC-Q200)

  • ✓Footprint extracted pad-for-pad from the source board and normalized to the footprint frame (back-side parts un-mirrored)
  • ✓3D model seated z=0 at footprint origin (placement inverse; method centroid-matched to KiCad library models on 59 cases)
  • ✓adom-lbr generate + lint passed
  • ✓2 of 2 pins described
  • •Not yet checked by a person: land pattern vs datasheet, pin-1/orientation, 3D body vs drawing
