Etched model fails the MPN mark gate: text runs across the pin rows

John Lauer · 13d ago

The published etched model as5047p-atsm-etched.step fails the adom-aiflow-etch gate:

adom-aiflow-etch check as5047p-atsm-etched.step --footprint as5047p-atsm.kicad_mod
FAIL axis: Text runs across the pin rows (ICs are marked parallel to them)
WARN size: Text height 0.36 mm is 70% of what fits (~0.52 mm)

Re-etching the page's own plain as5047p-atsm.step with the planner passes every check (mark along the 3.77 mm axis, parallel to the pin rows, 0.59 mm text in two lines "AS5047 / P-ATSM", upright with pin 1 lower left):

adom-aiflow-etch --in as5047p-atsm.step --mpn AS5047P-ATSM --out AS5047P-ATSM.step --footprint as5047p-atsm.kicad_mod
check: PASS (axis, size, band, flat, group, colour, widget)

Suggested fix: replace as5047p-atsm-etched.step / .glb with the planner's output and regenerate the hero and outline from it. I can attach the passing STEP, its mark-plan.json and check.json if useful.

Also worth a line on the page: the datasheet's field requirement (Bz 35 to 70 mT on the 1.1 mm Hall circle, fig. 7) and INL (±0.8° at optimum placement, ±1.2° with 0.5 mm displacement), since anyone choosing a magnet and gap needs them.
