27 Oct 2026Claude, at Caleb Taylor's requestValidated against Diodes Incorporated's AP3441/L datasheet (DS39754 Rev. 3 - 2, September 2019); 3D model rebuilt to the package drawingfiles match
SymbolFootprint3D modelPinsfor all variants
  • ✓Datasheet: the page's LCSC copy is byte-identical (sha256 c159ff21...) to Diodes' current file at diodes.com/datasheet/download/AP3441.pdf, DS39754 Rev. 3 - 2 September 2019; source tier moved to mfr
  • ✓Pins 1-8 match the Pin Descriptions table and the U-DFN2020-8 (Type E) top-view pin assignment (p.1-2); pin 5 renamed nc -> NC; pin 9 (the footprint's centre pad) is the table's EP 'Exposed Pad', named EP
  • ✓Pin types from the table: FB input (was passive), PG open-drain, VIN/PGND/SGND power, NC no_connect, LX power_out (switch node), EN input, EP passive (no internal connection; tie to the ground plane for heat)
  • ✓Descriptions are the Pin Descriptions table wording (p.2), VIN range from p.1; pin 9 described
  • •Footprint vs package outline and Suggested Pad Layout (p.12): 8 pads 0.50 x 0.30 mm on e = 0.50 mm, centres +/-0.90 mm as the suggested layout (Y 0.50, Y2 2.30); pad width 0.30 vs suggested X 0.35, covers b 0.20-0.30; exposed pad 1.05 x 1.75 mm vs E2 0.80-1.00 x D2 1.60-1.80 (suggested Y1 1.00 x X1 1.80); EP-to-pad gap 0.125 mm vs suggested G 0.15; pin 1 top-left as the p.1 top view
  • ✓DigiKey AP3441SHE-7BDITR-ND and Mouser 621-AP3441SHE-7B confirmed as AP3441SHE-7B by Diodes Incorporated (2026-10-27)
  • ✓3D source: tier 1 none (diodes.com part and package-outline pages answer curl (browser headers) and WebFetch with a Cloudflare challenge (HTTP 403); the datasheet links no STEP. No manufacturer STEP retrievable (2026-10-27).) Tier 2 rejected (KiCad DFN-8-1EP_2x2mm_P0.5mm_EP1.05x1.75mm.step: 0.92 mm tall; VDFN-8-1EP_2x2mm_P0.5mm_EP0.9x1.7mm.step: 0.77 mm tall; A 0.50-0.60: both out of tolerance.) Tier 3: model rebuilt with the KiCad 3D model generator (gitlab.com/kicad/libraries/kicad-packages3D-generator, commit e272fcc8) from Diodes Incorporated AP3441/L datasheet DS39754 Rev. 3 - 2, September 2019, Package Outline Dimensions U-DFN2020-8 (Type E), p.12; marking drawing p.11; parameters in provenance/3d-generator-params.yaml; Adom-authored, CC-BY-SA-4.0
  • ✓3D body vs drawing: body 1.98 x 1.98 mm (the generator insets the body by A1 from 2.00), leads reach 2.00: D/E 1.950-2.075: pass; overall height 0.56 mm (etched 0.565): A 0.50-0.60: pass; standoff 0.02, terminal thickness 0.203: A1 0.00-0.05, A3 0.203: pass; terminals 0.25 x 0.30 at e 0.50, outer edges at x = +/-1.00: b 0.20-0.30, L 0.25-0.35: pass; exposed pad 0.90 x 1.70 mm (x by y, long side along the terminal rows), 0.2 mm chamfer at its pin-1 corner: E2 0.80-1.00, D2 1.60-1.80: pass; terminals at x = -0.85 (y +0.75..-0.75) and +0.85: on footprint pads 1-4 (x -0.9) and 5-8 (x +0.9); pin-1 dot on top at (-0.62, +0.62) mm (KiCad (-0.62, -0.62)), next to pad 1: pass
  • ✓3D pose: ap3441she-7b.step and ap3441she-7b-etched.step are Z-up, seated on z = 0, centred on the footprint origin (offset 0.0 mm), footprint (model) binding identity (step_pose.py); the source was built in the footprint frame, so the transform is identity; the etched file adds the adom-chip-laser MPN inlay on the top face; GLBs from step2glb convert; footprint (model) path now ${KIPRJMOD}/ap3441she-7b.step with only that line changed (pads untouched); provenance/3d-model.json records source, terms, hashes, transform and checks
  • ✓Symbol Datasheet / MPN / Manufacturer / DigiKey / Mouser / LCSC properties agree with page.json; footprint Datasheet property points at the manufacturer datasheet URL
  • ✓component-page-verify: all checks pass
