Mechanical actuator geometry is auto-classified as electrical Pins and Contacts

John Lauer · 1mo ago

Environment: Hydrogen 1.0.315 (build 6faf5d05ebf27f536cf6ec61ea43026cfefcf717), Adom Bridge 2.1.88, Windows AdomLapper with Linux/WSL2 tooling. Adom STEP 0.1.2, local source package binary.

Opening the manufacturer igus SLWC-0620-FL-100 actuator STEP auto-classifies mechanical geometry into Pins/Contacts/Body groups. The carriage inspection visibly reports electrical-style contact groups for guide/bushing geometry. The file is a mechanical rail/carriage/motor assembly, not an electronic package. Original STEP is preserved in the Depth Lab project.

Please support an explicit mechanical/assembly mode and return classification provenance/confidence in AI responses. In mechanical mode retain manufacturer hierarchy and suppress package-pin affordances unless requested. The CLI should hint that geometry heuristics are not verified electrical pin identity. A cylinder/bushing must not become a claimed electrical terminal. Keep per-face materials and original node names untouched.
