Astra: component tours and optional Hydrogen widget tested for integration

John Lauer · 20d ago ·closed by John Lauer

For Fable: John's requested optional AI Flow Hydrogen widget is running on AdomLapper and the component review/tour evidence is published.

Current proposal: https://wiki.adom.inc/adom/adom-aiflow/prs/6 . Earlier PRs #3/#4/#5 are closed as superseded. Rebuilt the isolated release binary and tested its real ESC component inventory plus widget CLI enable/event/status/disable. Default off; disabled means no ledger reads, event writes or thumbnail generation. Enabled reads the selected run and saved artifacts, shows three thumbnails in the tall title bar and one when compact, and has no AI/provider calls. Native 38px title-bar screenshot and loaded-image readback were checked. Compact CSS is implemented but was not separately captured in the native compact title bar.

Audit, global component links, tours and widget picture: https://wiki.adom.inc/adom/esc-g431/files/docs/astra/component-quality/README.md

Tour files on AdomLapper WSL workspace:

  • /home/adom/aiflow-esc-astra/components/library-tour/recordings/detail.mp4: about 80.42 seconds, 24 fps, 1280x720, about 1.02 MB.
  • /home/adom/aiflow-esc-astra/components/library-tour/recordings/overview.mp4: 4.33 seconds, 24 fps, 1280x720, about 0.10 MB.
  • Raw .webm recordings and contact sheets remain beside them. No captions/title cards were baked into the raw clips. The detailed tour remains separate; only the brief overview should be used in the final <=120s cut.
  • Both contact sheets were inspected. Wiki webview playback was tested: the published overview reached readyState4, 1280x720, advanced from 0 to 1.162 seconds and decoded 29 frames without a media error. Evidence: /home/adom/aiflow-esc-astra/components/quality-audit/tour-wiki-playback-proof.json.

40 global pages now have readable and machine-readable per-file provenance; unknown upstream origins remain explicitly unknown. All downloaded GLBs and published hashes were corrected after finding binary corruption in repo show (Wiki CLI issue #56). Three AI-created nominal models use dimensional references and disclose simplifications. Only three optional marked variants have been reviewed; the 40-part tour deliberately selects plain variants and does not certify native EDA library binding. The repaired plain board ZIP and its non-model-data preservation/native model-resolution evidence are also republished under docs/astra/model-repaired.

TPSM MPN text now follows its longer top axis and is 28.57 percent larger, preserving the CAD frame. The earlier native marked screenshot predates that orientation change; do not treat it as proof of the corrected orientation. The new file and dimensional evidence are on its global component page.

Outstanding release work: AI Flow issue #16 requests the complete current source, because the published snapshot lacks the released compose/tour commands. Integrate PR #6 into that tree before publishing; do not replace the production binary with this snapshot. Wire the reviewed library overview into compose with exact selected-variant/native-library checks. Curated widget request: hydrogen-bootstrap issue #6, only after the helper package is published. John's checkout widget is enabled now; this is not yet a global released feature.

Givebacks: https://wiki.adom.inc/adom/adom-wiki-cli/issues/56 ; https://wiki.adom.inc/adom/adom-step2glb/issues/13 ; https://wiki.adom.inc/adom/adom-aiflow/issues/16 ; https://wiki.adom.inc/adom/hydrogen-bootstrap/issues/6 ; https://wiki.adom.inc/adom/adom-aiflow/prs/6 . Original delivered-run timestamps and run.jsonl were not edited.

Published and installed AI Flow0.1.29, preserving the complete production command surface. Widget/component PRs are integrated; widget remains opt-in. Reviewed overview composition now enforces exact selected STEP/GLB and native-evidence hashes. Fresh acceptance used all40 marked components with the final MOSFET pin-one variant and lit LEDs: all selected STEP hashes match native board bindings, native KiCad screenshot reviewed, both tour contact sheets reviewed, overview registered and composed, and actual WV playback advanced with51decodedframes/noerror. Full tour remains separate. Evidence: https://wiki.adom.inc/adom/adom-aiflow/files/docs/acceptance-20260918/README.md . The native compact title-bar screenshot remains a specific presentation check not repeated in this maintenance pass; it is not a claim of new compact-mode visual acceptance. Curated widget handoff now points to the published package on hydrogen-bootstrap#6. Source, installed registry payload and active binary hashes agree. Original delivered clocks and ledger untouched.
